Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:  Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”  We should not forsake the opportunity to come together to worship our Lord.  New Life Interfaith Ministries realizes that our schedules differ, so we offer several weekday and weekend worship opportunities to meet your need.  Here you can find an overview of each service in our Worship Schedule.

Sunday Hour of Power - 9:00 AM – New Life East

The Sunday Hour of Power Service is held at our East location in Birmingham, AL.   This service is our “early” service for the day.  If you work on Sundays or have plans for the rest of the day, this is the service for you.  Join Pastor Matthews for a quick, power-packed study in the Word.

• Pre-Service Prayer (8:30 AM) Pre-Service prayer begins promtply at 8:30 and is followed by communion and Praise & Worship.
• Praise & Worship (9:00 AM) Praise & Worship features contemporary worship music with a live band and the Voices of Life Praise Team.  Praise & Worship is followed by Pastor Matthews.

Sunday Worship Service – 10:30 AM – New Life Central

The Sunday Worship Service is our main service held at our Central location in Bessemer, AL. If you are traveling and unable to attend services, this service is streamed live on Streaming Faith.  If a mid-day service is what you’re looking for, then this is the service for you.

A Time of Intercession – 12:00 Noon – 1:00 PM – New Life Central (M – F)

The doors of our central location are open daily (Monday through Friday) from 12 noon to 1 pm for “A Time of Intercession.”  The purpose of intercession is to open up a divine current in which the Holy Spirit has free expression of His character, attributes, and gifts among the Body of Christ.  During this time attendees have the opportunity to be empowered by the Holy Spirit as He guides, counsels, and helps them through the challenges of life.

Tuesday Study In Truth – 6:30 PM – New Life East

If you live or work on the east side of Birmingham and are looking for a weeknight bible study, then Tuesday Study In Truth is for you.  Tuesday night’s Bible study is power-packed and to the point.

• Pre-Service Prayer (6:15 PM) Pre-Service prayer begins promtply at 6:15 and is followed by Praise & Worship.
• Praise & Worship (6:30 PM) Praise & Worship features contemporary worship music and the Voices of Life Praise Team.  Praise & Worship is followed by Pastor Matthews.

Wednesday In The Word – 6:30 PM – New Life Central

If you live or work on the west side of Birmingham and are looking for a weeknight bible study, then Wednesday Study In The Word is for you.  Wednesday night’s Bible study is held at our Central location and features study in the Word with Pastor Matthews and Open Mic Night, where you can ask Pastor Matthews questions and he’ll deliver answers based on the scripture.

• Pre-Service Prayer (6:00 PM) Pre-Service prayer begins promtply at 6:00 and is followed by Praise & Worship.
• Praise & Worship (6:30 PM) Praise & Worship features contemporary worship music and the Voices of Life Praise Team.  Praise & Worship is followed by Pastor Matthews.

Saturday Morning Glory Corporate Prayer – 8:30 AM – New Life Central

Saturday Morning Glory Corporate Prayer is our time to come together and pray each week.  Bring your prayer journal and find wisdom and a sense of direction as you’re led by the Holy Spirit.  Morning Glory Corporate Prayer is held at New Life’s Center of Excellence on the 1st Saturday of the month, and returns to New Life Central for the following Saturdays.  The first Saturday of the month also functions as our organizational meeting day.

• Ready for Conquest Men’s Bible Study (7:00 AM) This “men only” Bible study is held on 1st Saturdays.  Join the men of NLIM for a time of impartation and fellowship with Pastor Matthews.
• Corporate Prayer (8:30 AM) Everyone is invited to pray with us as we cover our leaders, our ministry, all members of the Body of Christ, our nation, our President, government, and elected officials.  Corporate Prayer is held every Saturday.
• Breakfast (9:30 AM) Our certified chefs prepare breakfast on the 1st Saturday of the month.  Breakfast is served for a nominal fee in New Life’s Center of Excellence Cafeteria.  Fellowship with new members and new life veterans alike.  Our new members receive preferred parking and breakfast with Pastor Matthews.
• Departmental Meetings (10:00 AM) If you’ve joined an auxiliary ministry and are volunteering to serve at New Life, your department meeting is held on the 1st Saturday of the month.  Attend the meeting to be sure you’ve received the latest instructions and directions to provide excellent service to our members and visitors alike.  Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!
• Life-Givers Quarterly Meeting(10:30 AM) Once per quarter, our Life-Givers Meeting is held after the departmental meetings.  All staff members (paid & volunteers) are asked to attend this meeting with Pastor Matthews.  This is one of the few times each year we are all able to come together and receive direction from Pastor Matthews regarding our volunteer services.
